ACTION

  • Stops bleeding and eliminates blood stasis
    Treats stranguria complicated by hematuria, metrorrhagia. Also treats hemoptysis, epistaxis, hematemesis and hemafecia. Its advantage is to stop bleeding without the formation of blood stasis.
  • Treats nose bleeding and gum bleeding
    Charred hair is ground to ashes and blown into the nose.
  • For bleeding with bowel movement
    May be used with Garden Burnet Root, Pagaodatree Flower (Huaihua) etc.
  • For treating bleeding with urination
    May be applied in pure ground form. Or used with Lalang Grass Rhizome, Field Thistle Herb, Akebia Stem etc.
  • Promotes diuresis
    Treats dysuria.

Usage and Dosage
6-10 g is used in decoction for oral use.
1.5-3 g of the powder is consumed 3 times a day.
The powder can be used externally.
