ACTION
- Dispels wind and dampness, strengthens tendons and bones
- For pain, numbness, and tightness of tendons.
- Treats spasms and weakness in the sinews and bones, especially in the elderly
- Relieves pain and tightness in the joints as well as treats traumatic injury
Usage and Dosage
4.5–9 g is used in decoction for oral use.
It can be used in pills, powder or soaked in spirit for drinking.
Note
Use with caution for the person with hyperactivity of fire due to yin-deficiency, bitter and dry feeling in the mouth.
Storage
Keep in a ventilated and dry place, and protect from moths.

The good one is brownish red in colour, stout and strongly fragrant.
