ACTION
- Promotes diuresis to resolve dampness
Treats dysuria (difficulty in urination) and edema, specifically swelling due to spleen-deficiency - Treats stranguria
- Treats diarrhoea associated with cold-dampness in the stomach and intestines
- Relieves vomiting
Usage and Dosage
6−12 g is used in decoction for oral use, or in pills or powder form.
Note
Contraindicated in the patient without dampness syndrome.

The good one is big, heavy with black skin and white flesh.
