Double Flower Drink

Effects

Cools and detoxifies. It can relieve heaty symptoms of the common cold, feverishness, thirst, dry cough, constipation and cough with persistent yellow and sticky phlegm.

Ingredients
Honeysuckle flower 15g, chrysanthemum flower 10g, reed rhizome 20g, houttuynia 15g, mulberry leaf 10g, rock sugar to taste.

Preparation
1.Soak the various herbs in cold water for 30 – 60 minutes.

2.Decoct the honeysuckle flower and reed rhizome together for 30 minutes.

3.Add the chrysanthemum, houttuynia and mulberry leaf, and continue heating for another 5 minutes.

4.Strain out the dregs, add rock sugar and serve.
