Honeyed Skullcap and Lily Drink

Dispels heat, resolves dampness and detoxifies. It is beneficial to those experiencing nosebleeds associated with heat obstruction in the lungs.

Lily bulb (fresh) 100g, dried 20 – 30g, skullcap root 10g, honey 20g.

1.Rinse and slice the skullcap, and decoct it with water for 30 minutes. Strain out the dregs.
2.Rinse the lily bulb and place in a pot with a suitable amount of water. Bring it to a rolling boil, then lower the heat and simmer gently until the lily bulb becomes tender.
3.Add the decocted liquid and boil over a strong fire for a short amount of time, then remove from the heat. Add the honey while still warm and mix thoroughly.
