ACTION

  • Invigorates blood and qi,regulates menses
    Treats scanty menses, amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and distension.
    May be taken with water, or consumed with Rose, Nutgrass Galingale Rhizome, Chinese Angelica (Danggui) etc.
  • Reduces chest swelling and pain
    May be used with Nutgrass Galingale Rhizome, Chinese Thorowax Root, Peppermint etc.
  • Reduces swellings and reduces toxins
    For neck swelling and scrofula. May be consumed with Common Selfheal Fmit-Spike, Oyster Shell etc.

Usage and Dosage
3-6 g is used in decoction for oral use. Not suitable to brew the herb for a long time. Can be taken with water or consumed in powder form.

Note
Used with caution for pregnant women.
Not suitable to consume in large amounts or decocted for a long time as this may induce strong abdominal pain, loose bowels and diarrhoea.



Storage
Keep in cool place. Do not store in an airtight container. Protect from light and dampness.
