Tangerine Pith and Turmeric Soup

Resolves phlegm, promotes circulation of blood and qi. It is recommended for those with excessive phlegm, tightness of the chest, pain in the joints or traumatic injury.

Tangerine pith 6 g, turmeric rhizome 10 g, brown sugar to taste.

1.Place the tangerine pith and turmeric rhizome into a pot with an adequate amount of cold water and soak for 30 minutes.
2.Bring to a boil over high heat, then cook over medium heat for 30–60 minutes, add sugar and serve.
