Achyranthes Congee

Nourishes the liver and spleen. It can be used to relieve ache and pain in the joints, weakness at the waist and thighs, giddiness and amnesia.

Twotoothed achyranthes root 6–15 g, pearl rice 100 g.

1.Rinse the pearl rice and set aside.
2.Steep the twotoothed achyranthes root in 200 ml of water for 30 minutes. Decoct to 100 ml and strain out the dregs.
3.Cook the pearl rice and herbal liquid together as congee.
