Prunella and Glehnia Pork Soup

Effects
Clears heat, benefits yin, moisturises the lungs and alleviates coughing. It is recommended for those suffering dry cough with bloody phlegm, shortness of breath, constipation and difficulty in urination.

Ingredients
Prunella spike 25g, glehnia root 15g, lean pork 500g, salt to taste.

Preparation
1.Rinse the various ingredients. Slice the pork.
2.Place the prepared ingredients in a pot with an adequate amount of water and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 30 – 60 minutes.
3.Add salt and serve.

Tips for a Healthy Life
Vegetarians may substitute 20g of southern almonds and 30g of northern almonds, or 2 – 3 pears, for pork in the recipe.
